Artwork of a fair woman with wavy brown hair and blue eyes. She is wearing a white blouse and pearls. She is surrounded by lilies of the valley.

Eliza Bowen-Smyth is a linguist and sentimentalist. She works as a freelance editor and proofreader for creative, academic and corporate writing.

Eliza also (occasionally) writes. Her non-fiction draws on her passion for language, while her fiction features themes of detachment, interconnection and succour.

In her free time, Eliza cross-stitches and runs tabletop roleplaying campaigns. She lives in Australia with her author wife and their family.

A headshot of the writer. A young white woman with curled brown hair and blue eyes smiles at the camera.
